Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Raleigh is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Now the first thing I'll say about this place is that I was confused by the vibes. Was this a vegan restaurant or a night club? Either way it looked bright and fun and we were ordering takeout πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ I ordered the garbage plate which I would not recommend for just one person because it was huuuge!! My sister ordered the crusin for a bleusin which she thought would be blue cheese flavored and we were both surprised that it was actually BLUE πŸ”΅ cheese πŸ˜‚ the colors on this food definitely make it something unique and I would say the flavors definitely beat the looks. As a vegan eatery I will say the flavors were great and I loved the fries and pickles on my garbage plate, just sometimes I had to close my eyes to eat it πŸ˜†

Went for brunch on a Saturday. Got a Boston cream filled donut, the little donkey (breakfast burrito), and a pancake breakfast sandwich. First the music was super loud and the service was nearly non existent. Waited like 5 minutes to even see someone to seat us. He came out again like 10 min later to take our order, brought the food, and then we didn't see him again till we had been done for a while. The donut was dry. If you haven't had a donut in a long time it's not horrible, but it was definitely one or two days old when it was served to us. The pancakes were also dry. I'd skip those. The burrito and the sausage and egg inside the pancake we're really good. The tomatoes in the burrito added this burst of freshness, and the nuclear waste sauce (cilantro jalapeno) wasn't spicy, but had a nice mild flavor. The smurf ranch just tasted like regular ranch, just blue, so no complaints. Overall, wouldn't really recommend brunch. It's not bad, but not really worth the drive either.

This is now our third restaurant brought by these owners and yet again they didn’t disappoint! Atmosphere: spot on! Food?! Top-notch! Their restaurants would convert the biggest carnivore! Noelia at Dirty V gave us the best recommendations for sauces and food choices! We will continue to support these local businesses!

Dirty V was absolutely incredible! I was not disappointed. After my favorite vegan restaurant closed in Raleigh, I haven’t found a new favorite until now. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and it’s located right across the street from Tin Roof on Glenwood Avenue. I got the Basic Betty burger with a side of fries and I had Nemo Needs An Uber cocktail! The food was delicious! The fries were super crispy waffle fries and the burger was an impossible patty that tasted 100000% better than any impossible patty I’ve ever tasted. Natalie was an amazing waitress and Chloe did her thing with the drinks! I will definitely be backkkkk.

Noelia was an amazing server!! We had a great meal. I wish they would make their own burger blend (a la Fiction Kitchen ) but LOVE the spicy options and other flavors they have. Milkshakes are AMAZING - try the Nanner Pudding and Strawberry Shortcake
